On Mondays.... (re-post)

I'm re-posting this blog entry from a while back.....just thought it was apropos (at least for me ~ lol). Be BLESSED in His presence today!!!

Those who are close to me know that Mondays are my MARATHON day. I start early and end late. And although I'm not a "Monday-hater" is the day that puts reality in my face: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

It's on
Mondays that I'm reminded that I have deadlines, bills due, and needy children. It's on Mondays that I must look forward not back. It's on Mondays that difficult decisions are made that set the tone for the rest of the week.

It's on
Mondays that I'm reminded that I'm a wife, covenanted to love and respect my husband. It's on Mondays that I'm reminded that I'm a mother and grandmother, that have children who need nurturing, love and daily encouragement. It's on Mondays that I'm reminded that I am a business owner, purposing to walk in integrity in her finances and toward her clients. It's on Mondays that I'm reminded that I am a leader, privilege and commissioned to intercede, impart and train other wonderful men and women of God.

It's on
Mondays that I'm pressed for time, knowing that I have one more part to choreograph on that dance before tonight's rehearsal. It's on Mondays that I'm reminded that I have to project and plan for future events that concern me, my family, ministry and business.

On
Mondays I realize how vital it is that I spend time in the Word of God and communing with my heavenly Father. It's on Mondays that I seek Him early and linger with Him late into the evening. It's on Mondays that I must be quick to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to me: to guide, to give wisdom and to give keen discernment. It's on Mondays that I pull and rely on the supernatural Grace of the Father to be and do ALL that He has called me to do.

On
Mondays I realize........Mondays are every day of the week!!!

I admonish you
this Monday to take a minute to seek Him.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." Proverbs 3:5-8
